We conduct a comprehensive needs assessment in advance. After all prescription without diagnosis is malpractice.

How do we produce results?

Although every intervention is customized all coaching has four main elements: assessment, development of a personalized action plan, implementation, and follow-up. The typical coaching process starts with one-on-one interviews of the individual to be coached, his/her manager, several direct reports and team members. From this needs assessment we develop a detailed customized plan of action. If the individual suffers from ineffective interpersonal skills the initial assessment is supplemented by shadowing. During this time we identify dysfunctional behaviors and help the individual discover and substitute more effective behaviors. Implementation consists of one-on-one in person coaching and telephone follow-up until the individual has established more effective behaviors which have been transformed into lasting positive habit patterns. Follow-up insures that the individual does not fall back into old dysfunctional habit patters.
