Frustrated by team members "spinning their wheels" because of personality conflicts, poor interpersonal skills, distrust, hurt egos, damaged pride, anger, or animosity?

This unique conflict resolution strategy will address dysfunctional behaviors and achieve consensus commitments that serve as the foundation for building a cohesive high-performance team.

The intervention will be facilitated by Dr. Wolf J. Rinke who has more than 30 years of hands-on management and leadership experience and has conducted numerous conflict interventions with Fortune 500 to start-up entrepreneurial organizations. This customized strategy is typically limited to 3-15 executives, managers and/or other critical team members. Specific needs are identified using a variety of individual and team assessments including a unique system that protects team members' anonymity so they feel free to identify real issues that interfere with team performance. The outcome of the intervention is a set of specific written commitments that will govern future team behaviors. This "contract" is used by team members to hold each other accountable. As a result participants buy into a new reality which enables them to take team performance to the next level.

The intervention typically consists of three phases: Diagnosis, Intervention and Follow-up, which are described below.

Note: Every intervention is customized to the specific needs of the team.

Phase 1. Diagnose critical needs and challenges of the team
What: Interview key decision makers, stake holders and team members
How: Conduct one-on-one in-person or telephone interviews to identify strengths, weaknesses and dysfunctional behaviors
Why: Identify the real needs and challenges of the team.
To structure a customized intervention that produces lasting results.

Phase 2 Intervention
What: Facilitate a highly productive conflict resolution strategy that addresses the real needs and challenges of the team.
How: Utilize a unique conflict resolution strategy that enables team members to anonymously identify real challenges so that they can be addressed.
Generate a list of specific commitments that team members sign and commit to use to govern their future behavior.
Why: Build the foundation for effective team performance.

Phase 3 Follow-up
What: Follow-up and reinforcement.
How: Conduct three follow-up sessions--one about every 3 months.
Why: To assess compliance with commitments and reinforce positive new behaviors.
To achieve lasting behavior change and dramatic improvements in team performance.
